Required before any WAH activities

Evaluates the safety of a proposed work site before hazardous tasks begin, identifying risks and control measures.

Conducts site risk assessment before WAH work begins
Identifies fall hazards and prescribes controls
Approves the Safe Work Procedure for WAH tasks
Ensures equipment and PPE are appropriate

Work at Height Manager

Planning and approval

Holds the highest level of responsibility for planning and approving high-risk work at height and the WAH management system.

Plans and approves high-risk WAH activities
Establishes and maintains the WAH management system
Ensures legal compliance with MOM WAH Regulations
Reviews and approves Risk Assessments and SWPs

Required during all WAH activities

Provides immediate on-site supervision of workers performing tasks at height throughout the duration of work.

Enforces the approved Safe Work Procedure
